Four suspected extortionists arrested in Karachi
KOT ADDU (Dunya News) – Four suspected kidnappers were killed when police launched a successful operation to rescue father of a TikToker in Thal desert on Thursday night.
According to Kot Addu DPO, Sadiq Hussain, father of TikToker Wayla Munda, was abducted from his outhouse on November 15.
Police launched a rescue operation on intelligence information, and managed to get the abductee freed from the abductors. In the rescue operation, four kidnappers were eliminated in a fierce exchange of fire with the police. Further investigation was underway.
In Karachi, police and other law enforcement agencies arrested four people for collecting extortion money from factory owners and traders.
Joint operations were carried out in New MA Jinnah Road area and Mangupir. In the first raid, three extortionists were arrested. They were involved in firing at a car showroom on New MA Jinnah Road and extortion. The fourth extortionist was involved in demanding Rs5million from a car showroom and Rs10crore from a marble factory in Mangupir.
