He said that there are thieves in different forms across the world, including those who fuel wars, plunder resources or promote evil, thereby taking away a peaceful future from everyone.
The Pope expressed hope that decisions at the global level will be made with wisdom and responsibility so that nuclear power is used only for peace and the welfare of humanity.
It is noteworthy that the Chernobyl disaster was the worst nuclear accident in the world, the effects of which are still being felt today, even reaching Pakistan.
