Syrian student kills one injures 4

A Syrian student shot at five of his colleagues at the Damascus University, killing at least one and wounding four others, the official SANA news agency reported Tuesday.Ammar Baloush, a sophomore of the medical engineering department at the Damascus University, fired at his classmates with a handgun during an exam, killing one of them instantly, the report said.Ammar Baloush took out a handgun and first shot at Hazim and then at Hussein Ghanem, who rose up to stop the assailant before being shot three times. He was killed and hoped he is blessed by Allah. Three other students were also attacked, who are all supporters of the President (Bashar al-Assad), said a witness.One of the wounded is reportedly in a critical condition while the other three sustained minor injuries, said the report.The assailant intentionally chose the five students and opened fire directly at them, the report said, adding that the Syrian authorities are still chasing him.
