Summary At least eleven Afghan cops were killed Sunday by suicide hit in city of LashkarGah in Helmand.
Eleven policemen at least were killed. Twelve people were wounded including three civilians, one of whom was a ten-year-old boy. It was a suicide car bomb and was very heavy, said an official.The Afghan government said the bomb has blown up outside the main gate of the police headquarters.Helmand provincial government spokesman DaoudAhmadi said a wall of the compound has also collapsed and that they are not sure whether anyone is trapped underneath.He says it was a police vehicle that exploded, but it was unclear whether it had been driven into the gate by a suicide bomber or whether a bomb had been place inside a parked vehicle.
