At least 60 were reported killed.Rebel fighters made significant gains on the frontline west of Misrata after a week of deadlock just outside the town of Zlitan.Heavy fighting was seen on the frontline, which has moved several kilometres west according to rebels.Wounded rebels said pro-Gaddafi forces had moved forward with tanks overnight but were repelled by the rebels. Rebels then decided to move forward in the morning leaving themselves vulnerable to heavy fire and minefields.The frontline west of Misrata has been static for more than a week. A video filmed at the frontline showed rebel fighters fighting street battles in the Zlitan outskirts of Zdou.One tank was destroyed by NATO and wounded rebels claim that two Chad nationals operating a tank were captured.
