Summary A commando killed in a clash with insurgents has become Australia's 28th fatality in Afghanistan.

Australian Defense Force Chief Lt General David Hurley said that 35-year-old Sergeant Todd Langley was killed by a shot to the head in southern Afghanistan during a joint Australian-Afghan special forces operation.Another Australian soldier was seriously wounded in the same clash.Hurley says Langley was a decorated veteran on his fifth six-month tour of Afghanistan.
