United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon said that he had spoken to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and asked him to take necessary measures to reflect the will of the people.Talking to the media in the US state of Colombia, the UN Secretary General said, Ive talked to President Assad several times and I have urged him in person, through my telephone talks, that he must take bold, immediate and decisive actions to listen to the people and to take necessary measures to reflect the will of the people.In Syria, witnesses said more than 4,000 Syrians have crossed over to Turkey and up to 10,000 had taken shelter among trees near the border since government troops moved into the north-western province of Idlib.
