Summary Some 50,000 Greeks thrashed the street on the seventh night of anti-austerity protests.
The protests at Athens central Syndagma square and the square at Athens University together pulled about 50,000 people, including renowned composer Mikis Theodorakis, the largest protests since the movement - motivated by demonstrations in Spain one week ago.The protesters at Syndagma square across the street from parliament, who have also set up tents, were brought together by Facebook.Protesters said they were angry that they were paying for the countrys economic crisis and not corrupt politicians they blamed for the massive debt crisis.
