Summary A suicide bomber crashed a car into a barrier outside a police building, killing at least 15 people.
A police official says the bomber hit when the police were changing shifts on Thursday in the city of Hillah, south of the capital Baghdad. He says the force of the blast knocked over some of the concrete barriers that surround the building. The official put the number of dead at 10 and said 30 people were wounded. Another police officer said 13 people were killed and 35 wounded. Such conflicting numbers are common in the chaotic aftermath of attacks in Iraq.
