Summary A tornado destroyed thousands of homes and disrupted electricity supply in St. Louis, Mexico.
Dozens of people were injured and hundreds of houses and cars were destroyed due to the tornados. Electricity supply to the region was also suspended. Relief work is underway in the affected areas. According to officials, 750 houses were damaged and 100 were completely destroyed while and more than 47,000 people are without electricity. The tornado also damaged the citys Lambert Airport, forcing it to shut down.US President Barrack Obama directed all the rescue operatives in the state to start the relief work.
