Syria: Protester death toll rises to 90

President Barack Obama has demanded for an immediate end to the violence against peaceful protestors in Syria. He added that President Bashar-al-Asad was being tenacious about ending the emergency imposed in the country.Meanwhile UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon has called for an impartial, international investigation into the violence that has plagued the country since nearly three months ago. Countries from around the world, along with the European Union have severely condemned the use of lethal force against peaceful protests in the country.Following Egypt, Libya and Tunisia, anti-government protests hit the country first on January 26, 2011.
