Yemen: One killed, 30 injured as police open fire on protestors

Summary The United Nations has sent a delegation in Sanaa, to investigate the governments operations.

At least one was killed and 30 were injured when police opened fire on anti-government protestors in Taiz. In the capital city of Sana’a, at least 19 people have been killed and hundreds have been injured since the protests began. Whereas, more than 120 people have been killed and more than 5000 have been injured since the protests started in Yemen.On the other hand, the United States has called for early transfer of power in Yemen.
