Summary Condemning the desecration of the holy Quran, General David Petraeus said that it was unacceptable.
The United States Army general and commander of International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan expressed his concerns over the protests which broke out in Afghanistan against the burning of the holy Quran.He said that facing an angry mob was the most difficult situation for soldiers and Afghan People’s reaction to the incident had intensified the gravity of the situation.
