Summary People from Tunisia and other troubled areas are travelling to Italy to take refuge.
A boat carrying about 250 to 300 Tunisians arrived at the coast of Italys Lampedusa Island, on Sunday. After settlement arrangements are made, these people would be transferred to different parts of the mainland in Italy.In recent weeks, nearly 20,000 people out of which majority are Tunisian residents have come to take refuge in Italy. Due to the unexpected arrival of a large number of refugees, the arrangements made by the Italians authorities are not up to mark and the people are forced to live in tents as settlements are implemented.On the other hand, the Italian government has asked Tunisian government to stop the exodus and to take back those migrants who have already arrived in Italy.
