The giant pandas in Wolong Natural Reserve live well despite the heavy snow in this part of southwest China since March 20, which has lodged 240,000 bamboos, the pandas staple food.At present, seven giant pandas are living at the Hetaoping Training Base of Wolong. While Caocao and her cub are receiving survival training in wild life, the rest five are living in their pens.Thanks to their adaptability to the snowy weather, the five pandas in pens are in good shape. Each of them can consume some 50 kilograms of bamboos every day.
