Summary Northern New Jersey was hit by flood from River Passaic due to heavy rains and melting of snow.
Several northern regions of New Jersey have been hit by a flood from the rampant waters of the Passaic River which left many areas in the state submerged in water. Five bridges on the river have also been swept away by the flood.The water level is so high that the fire fighters are using rafts to evacuate people from their homes. Officials are expecting that the water will clear in a few days.
