Ramazan moon has been sighted in Gulf states including Saudi Arabia. Whereas Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will sit today for moon sighting. Supreme Judicial Council annouced that moon has been sighted and first fast (roza) will be observed on Wednesday (August 11). Besides Saudi Arabia, Ramazan will also start in Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait and UAE from today. Muslims of UK and Europe have annouced to follow Saudi Arabia while Markazi Jamat Ahl-e-Sunnat has annouced to observe first roza on Thursday. In Pakistan, central meeting of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held in Karachi today under the suprevision of Mufti Muneebur Rehman. Met Office has forecast that moon will be sighted today.
