UTTAR PRADESH (Web Desk) - An Indian bride in in Murarpatti village in Uttar Pradesh’s Ballia district refused to marry the man after she saw him chewing tobacco during the wedding ceremony, reported Hindustan Times.
The groom, a resident of Dalan Chapara in Uttar Pradesh province, arrived at Lalganj village alongwith the wedding party and received a grand reception.
However; things took an ugly turn when the bride spotted the groom chewing tobacco on the occasion of wedding rituals as she instantly refused to tie the knot with him.
Her family was taken aback by the decision of the girl who is a student of Bachelor of Arts at a local college.
Both the families tried to persuade her to change her mind but all in vain as she declined to show any flexibility in the matter.
The groom’s family filed a complaint in Dokati police station against the bride. But she told police that she will never marry a ‘gutka’ addict.
