(Web Desk) - A young lady in California, who was visiting her grandmother in the hospital, snuck in her grandmother’s pet dog, pretending it was a baby to surprise her relative.
Shelby Hennick’s grandmother was admitted to the hospital after a bad reaction to a medicine which the elder woman had taken earlier in the day. Talking to one of the local newspapers, Shelby said that it was her mom who advised her to sneak in the dog as a surprise for her grandmother. “I just happened to be passing my grandma’s house when she called so of course I was gonna do it,” said Shelby.

Shelby Hennick hid the dog under her shawl pretending that she was pregnant and walked into the hospital with ease. Shelby said that even though the hospital staff was used to seeing her, they couldn’t recognize the fact that she was not pregnant.
“Pasty, the dog, was quiet the whole time and actually kept licking my arm,” added Shelby.
Hennick’s tweet went viral reaching over 10 million people.
