Summary Nokia plans to launch its first smartphone using Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 by the end of this year
Nokia plans two models of Window phones. The shape of these handsets is somewhere between its recent N8 and C7 Symbian devices and there is a choice of sprightly colors. Nokias Windows Phones will also feature dual-core ST-Ericsson U8500. Compal Communications is the sole company to receive orders for Nokias Window phones and would start shipment in the fourth quarter. Nokia will use Microsofts Windows phone software in all of its smartphones, and it would start volume shipments of these smartphones in 2012.
