Summary KGI Securities analyst told that three iPhones will be launched next year with improved battery life
(Web Desk) – The three Apple iPhones which will be released next year will have increased battery life as part of the company’s bid to address battery woes reported by consumers, according to Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities.
Kuo wrote that Apple will improve the battery designs and make new L-shaped batteries to fit into the 6.1-inch 6.5-inch and 5.8-inch iPhones with OLED displays. They will allow increased storage capacity as well as better battery life.
The battery capacity in the smaller iPhone next year will be around 2900-300 mAh. The increase in battery life as compared to previous model will be of at least 10 percent.
KGI analyst told that there will be three iPhone models of variable sizes. The smartphone giant aims to introduce 5G technology along with Face ID on the all handsets in 2018.
The third iPhone, of 6.1-inch size, will be a budget-focused smartphone that will target mid-range consumers. It is likely that there will no support for wireless charging in this phone.
