DUBAI (Dunya News) – The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest annual team rankings for men’s Test cricket and women’s One Day Internationals, with mixed results for Pakistan.

In the men’s Test rankings, Pakistan national cricket team have moved up one place from seventh to sixth position, reflecting an improvement in their recent performances. Australia national cricket team continue to hold the top spot, followed by South Africa national cricket team in second place.

India national cricket team are ranked third, while England cricket team and New Zealand national cricket team occupy the fourth and fifth positions respectively.

Meanwhile, in the women’s ODI rankings, the Pakistan women's national cricket team have dropped one place to eighth, indicating a slight decline in standings amid strong competition from other sides.

The updated rankings highlight Pakistan’s steady progress in the longer format of the men’s game, while underlining the need for improvement in the women’s limited-overs format.
