ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Myanmar national football team defeated Pakistan national football team 2–1 in a match of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers 2027 held at Jinnah Stadium under closed-door arrangements.

Both teams displayed aggressive play in the first half, creating several scoring opportunities, but neither side managed to break the deadlock.

Myanmar took the lead early in the second half in the 47th minute, capitalizing on a costly mistake by a Pakistani player that resulted in an own goal. The player attempted to pass the ball back to the goalkeeper, who failed to control it, allowing the ball to slip into the net.

Building on their momentum, Myanmar doubled their lead in the 59th minute, strengthening their grip on the match. Pakistan later managed to score once but could not equalize, resulting in a 2–1 defeat.
