Adelaide United have replaced Dutchman Rini Coolen with the clubs inaugural coach John Kosmina in a bid to end a run of defeats in Australias A-League, the Reds said on Sunday.Kosmina will take over immediately from Coolen after Adelaide slumped to a dispiriting 3-0 loss at home to bottom team Gold Coast United on Friday.Kosminas appointment will be for the remainder of the A-League season and the clubs 2012 AFC Champions League campaign, the club said.Adelaide are lying ninth in the competition with only two wins from 11 games.Clearly what happened on Friday night at Hindmarsh Stadium was not acceptable and basically were here to make sure that weve got a strong and vibrant Adelaide United, club chairman Greg Griffin said.Griffin said Coolens contract has not been terminated and he will remain at the club to coach the Reds youth team and look after the clubs junior development programme.
