Rui Costa outsprinted Pierrick Fedrigo down the final stretch to a claim a win at the second edition of the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montreal on Sunday afternoon.Portuguese rider Costa, who won stage eight of this years Tour de France, held off several late charges over the last three kilometres and then battled with Fedrigo over the last 200 metres before crossing the finish line just ahead of Frenchman for the win.Austrian Stefan Denifl looked set to take the final podium spot but tired down the final stretch and was passed by Belgians Phillippe Gilbert and Jurgen Roelandts and could only manage fifth.Costa completed 17 laps of the 12.1 kilometre course around Montreal that included two climbs in 5 hours, 20 minutes, and 16 seconds.Three time Tour de France runner up and scheduled GP de Montreal participant Andy Schleck was forced to miss the event because of health reasons.
