Striker Paolo Guerrero scored a hat-trick as Peru crushed 10-man Venezuela 4-1 to take third place at the Copa America.Peru, a two-time Copa winner, began the tournament as outsiders, but improved with each match while favourites Argentina, Brazil and Chile fell by the wayside. The Andean side performed one of their best matches against a 10-man Venezuela.Venezuela lost captain Tomas Rincon for a two-footed challenge in the 60th minute, but still improved one position for their best ever result at a Copa America. The unlikely pairing for third place came after a series of upsets earlier in the tournament that left Argentina and Brazil out of the semi-finals.William Chiroque put Peru ahead from Guerreros pass three minutes before half-time and the striker nicknamed Predator rammed home the second in the 64th and two more in added time.Guererro is the top scorer at the tournament with five goals at the moment, two more than Luis Suarez of Uruguay and Argentinas Sergio Aguero.Favorites Uruguay will face Paraguay in Sundays final at the Monumental in Buenos Aires.
