Summary Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) won National Weightlifting Championship in Lahore.
Pakistan Railways secured second position while Higher Education Commission (HEC) remained third in the two-day event in Lahore.WAPDA won three gold, two silver and two bronze medals to top the points table. Pakistan Railways remained second with three gold, one silver and four bronze medals while HEC finished third with two gold, four silver and four bronze medals. Pakistan Police won 2 silver and one bronze medal. Prizes were distributed at the conclusion of the championship.
