Summary SHC has postponed hearing on constitutional application submitted by Shahid Afridi till June 16.

The bench comprising Chief Justice Musheer Alam and Justice Aqeel Ahmad Abbasi conducted hearing of the case.PCB lawyers adopted the stance that central contract of former captain was cancelled due to violation. They added that NOC for playing county cricket is also part and parcel of contract. That is why Afridi application is not maintainable, they argued. On the contrary, the lawyers on the part of Afridi argued that cancellation of NOC of county cricket is unconstitutional; so it should be termed null and void.Chief Justice while commenting on the case said that if cancellation of contract is unconstitutional, Afridi should claim damages in the court.
