Summary England is 149/2 and leads the series with 156 runs, at the end of the fourth day of the Lords Test.

In the second test, Sri Lanka started the third day with 372 runs at the loss of three wickets but the team was soon bowled out for 479 runs. Sri Lankan Captain Tillakaratne Dilshan scored a magnificent 193 runs but despite that the English side had a lead of seven runs.In the second innings, England was off to a rough start as captain and opener Andrew Strauss was bowled out for zero on the second ball. The second wicket partnership resorted order as England lost their second wicket on 117 runs and went on to end the day at stumps with 149 runs at the loss of two wickets.
