Pakistan was off to a flying start as they restricted the West Indies to 209 runs while the spinner took nine wickets in the first day of the test match being played at the Providence Stadium in Georgetown, Guyana.Lendl Simmons with 49 runs was the highest scorer for the West Indies. Ramnaresh Sarwan scored 27, Darren Bravo 25 while Shivnarine Chanderpaul scored 23 runs. Saeed Ajmal took four wickets, Abdur Rehman and Mohammad Hafeez each took two wickets while Wahab Riaz took one wicket.
