The Berlin Ice Bears (Eisbaeren) won a fifth German Ice Hockey title after they beat Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg 5-4 to complete a 3-0 triumph in their best of five game finals series.In a thrilling game, Wolfsburg pressed forward and were rewarded with the lead on a number of occasions.However every time they went ahead, Berlin came right back at them and when Constantin Braun scored a decisive fifth goal in the 57th minute, the game was over and the series won.Wolfsburg will be bitterly disappointed not to have won a game in the finals series after they finished the regular season on top of the league ladder.Berlins victory was achieved exactly six years to the day that they first won the unified all-German championship title.
