Summary The ICC president has voiced his concerns for the 10-team format for the 2015 Cricket World Cup.
The decision to restrict the 2015 and 2019 World Cup to 10 full members of the International Cricket Council (ICC) has come under a lot of criticism.ICC president Sharad Pawar has also voiced his concerns over the format. As a result the ICC executive board will be reviewing their 10-team format decision in June.Pawar said that the ICC understand the concerns raised by the associate and affiliate members hence he had requested ICC executive board to revisit the issue.14 teams competed in this years World Cup hosted by eventual champions India, runners-up Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
