Addressing the media at the Gaddafi stadium after a practice session, Pakistan cricket team manager Initkhab Alam said that the Caribbean tour would be a golden opportunity for young players to launch their careers.Alam said that the cricket pitch in the Caribbean would suit the Pakistani players and they have the best chance of beating the West Indies in the series. He said that the Pakistan Cricket Board had offered Javed Miandad a position as a batting coach which he turned down. When asked about Pakistan’s defeat against traditional rivals India, Alam said that the players were heartbroken but on the up side, they now know how to handle a high pressure game.Alam said that he has high hopes from the green shirts. He also said that if the player put in an effort, they can easily win the series. The Pakistani squad is scheduled to leave for the Caribbean on April 14.
