Ponting blames poor bowling for defeat, praises Pakistan

Australian captain Ricky Ponting has blamed poor bowling for their quarterfinal loss against India, whereas, he praised Pakistan for showing good performance throughout the event.Addressing a press conference in Ahmedabad after losing the quarter-final match against India, Ponting said poor bowling led his side to lose; otherwise a total of 260 runs was enough to defend.Even after losing in a horrible way, Ponting did not forget to praise Pakistan along with India. He said Pakistan have played fantastic cricket throughout the tournament and if they retain their good form, winning is obvious for them.
