Technology finally caught up in the Indian Kashmir village of Taiyan where the Indian Army set up a big screen for the people to watch the India’s World Cup matches. With a total population of 2500 people, there is not a single television set in Taiyan. To have a television, electricity is required which is also not available in the remote village. where It took the Cricket World Cup to do it.On Wednesday, the Indian Army set up a huge screen to show 300 villagers from Taiyan the national teams five-wicket win over Netherlands. For many of Wednesdays audience, it was the first time they had seen Indiascricketers in action.The army had also arranged for Indias matches against Bangladesh and Ireland to be shown on the big screen but most did not bother viewing because of poor weather.
