(Web Desk) – FIFA World Cup Trophy 2018 was unveiled in Pakistan on Saturday in a glammed-up ceremony organised in a five-star hotel in Lahore.
The event was graced by international athletes including former French footballer Christian Karembeu and film stars Mahira Khan, Ali Rehman Khan, Imran Abbas and fashion model Hasnain Lehri among renowed personalities from the field of sports and showbiz.
The event was attended by Pakistan’s soccer team as well.

The trophy was earlier brought to Pakistan from Thailand as part of the world tour of the memento. It was received by famed personalities including Islamabad United brand ambassador Momina Mustehsan and former cricketer Younis Khan among others.
FIFA World Cup Trophy is made of 18-karat pure gold and weighs six kilograms. The ceremony will be attended by famous personalities, and common people will be allowed to see the trophy as well.
FIFA World Cup is scheduled to be played in June in Russia this year, and the trophy is on its tour of 51 countries. It will be sent to Kazakhstan on February 4.
