Summary After winning the first warm up match against Bangladesh, Pakistan cricket team coach Waqar Younis congratulated the two batsmen for mounting a high score but also said warned that the team needs to perform in the coming matches if they want to win the World Cup.
At a press conference held in Dhaka, Coach Waqar Younis said that there are a few batsmen in the team who always mount a high score which include Misbah ul Haq, Ahmed Shehzad and Younas Khan. But he added that he was a bit disappointed by Younas Khan’s performance in the match as he was not able to score a lot of runs.Coach Waqar Younis also emphasized that the team needs to up their game in the coming matches. He said that the cricketers need to perform at the mega event if they want to win the world cup.
