(Web Desk) – Boxer Amir Khan took to social media last week to announce burying the hatchet with his father and former manager, Shah, around six months after their falling-out.

However, a Facebook post that was deleted afterwards read: “My dad and I at the pak v ind cricket match last weekend. We both had a great time together. Faryal and I decided to put everything behind us. She played a big part in helping me move forward. Life is too short.”

Though the picture remains on social media and the tweet.



Faryal Makhdoom and Pakistan-born Khan indulged themselves in not-so-pretty brawl with their family some sox months ago where the former leveled serious accusations against her in-laws.

In posts on Snapchat, Twitter and Facebook, Makhdoom alleged her in-laws of domestic abuse and attempting to take her child away.

Mother of the British boxer denied any such motives as well as actions claiming that these were concocted stories of Makhdoom. However, she did go on to say that the family wanted her to ‘correct’ her style of dressing.

Amidst the infighting, the star had another potential blow to his career and personal life when an indecent online chat video was leaked in January this year.

Makhdoom stood by the man after the leak and held it a conspiracy to have them separated. Meanwhile, the The Sun had reported at the time that the video was recorded weeks after Khan was married to Makhdoom.

In her initial statement that she was "absolutely disgusted" over the incident.

The Briton had married a Pakistan-born New Yorker Faryal four years ago in a ceremony organised in New York City.
