LAHORE (Dunya News) – Two sisters, Ambreen and Humaira, have emerged in Pakistan’s wrestling after Indian sisters Geeta and Ritu represented their country internationally.

Although Ambreen and Humaira do belt wrestling, but are impressed by the Indian wrestlers, and want to bring gold medals for Pakistan.

Wrestling and women, both words are not synonymous in Pakistan, but same was the case in India a few years ago. Ambreen and Humaira want to do the same for Pakistan what Geeta and Ritu did for India.

Both sisters will represent Pakistan in indoor belt wrestling championship in Turkmenistan after two months.

It is worth mentioning here that wrestling federation had called female wrestlers from all over the country, but only eight came forward. Ambreen and Humaira were also among them, and they want to encourage other girls to join this sport.

Although Geeta and Ritu have achieved a lot in their careers, and Ambreen and Humaira are about to make a start, but their aim is also to bring gold for Pakistan.
