Summary Spanish racer Lorenzo ended Stoner's early dominance of MotoGP, going fastest during 3rd practice.

Reigning world champion Stoner was quickest on his Repsol Honda in both the first two sessions, but Lorenzo hit back in third practice at the Losail International Circuit.The Yamaha rider set a time of one minute 55.302 seconds to be quickest, ahead of Cal Crutchlow (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) and Stoner.Stoner led for most of the final practice, before several riders put in fast times late in the session.Lorenzo moved ahead of the Australian, only to see Crutchlow, who has been strong in each of the practice sessions, go faster.But the Spaniard responded to finish up 0.154 seconds clear atop the timesheets.Andrea Dovizioso (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) was fourth, ahead of Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda).Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha Factory Racing YZR-M1 MotoGP) says: I am very happy with today because we improved a lot on yesterdays lap time. Im also happy for Cal in second, the bike seems much better than last year for us. I think we have even more potential for improvement tomorrow. We still have a few issues to solve, especially corner entry, but we manage to keep a good pace. Im going to try my hardest for qualifying tomorrow and see what we can do.
