Family Fun Cycle Race concludes in Punjab

The day kicked off with an ordinary cycle race of 22 kilometres starting from Ravi Interchange.In men’s race, Tariq Anwar clinched first position by covering 22 kilometres distance at 00:34:40.Umar Ibrahim and Azeem came second and third respectively.In women’s cycle race, Fiza Riaz gained first position, Sidrah Sadaf second and Malaika remained third.Two female cyclists were reportedly hurt during race.The winner of the ordinary race will be awarded Rs 50,000, Rs 35,000 and Rs 30,000 for the first three positions while some other prizes will be given to top cyclists other than the winners.Around 2500 persons have registered for the cycle races and more than 300 females took part to paddle off in the last event of the festival.
