Brazil, FIFA presidents meet to ease tensions

FIFA head Sepp Blatter and Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff are meeting in Brazil to discuss preparations for the 2014 World Cup.Fridays meeting comes two weeks after FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke made harsh remarks over Brazils slow preparations, starting a row between the host country and world footballs governing body.Pele and Ronaldo also joined Blatter and Rousseff in the nations capital. Brazil Sports Minister Aldo Rebelo, who threatened to cut the countrys ties with the FIFA official in charge of working with the government, also attended the meeting.Pele is a World Cup ambassador, while Ronaldo is a member of the local organizing committee.
