Summary There is an overwhelming trend of recommendations for postings of SHOs on political basis.
The Station House Officers who were removed a few days back have been posted in their old stations.The code of the conduct set for posting of SHOs by Home Minister Manzoor Wasan has been thrown to winds.Some SHOs were suspended with the direction to report to the Headquarters about their failure to maintain law and order in the related localities but they have been posted on their old seats after suspension for some days.It is worth mentioning that the Sindh government had decided the posting of SHOs after written test and interview but all the orders were overlooked.
