Summary About 10 death convicts have announced to go on hunger strike in central jail.
According to sources, 10 death convicts who were shifted from Peshawar Jail to DI Khan four month ago demanded to be shifted to their district jails so that they might have a meeting with the relatives easily.Eight of them belong to Mardan, one is from Charsadda, one from Swabi and one of them is from Abbottabad.They are of the view that they been deprived of having a meeting with their relatives at the time when their lives seem to be at an end.One of them is suffering from diabetes while two face kidney pain. The provision of medicines has become impossible for them.
