Summary Milkmen are flouting price orders from of administration in Karachi.
Milk is being sold for Rs 70 per kilo gram despite government endeavours through price control committees.The Commissioner set price of milk at Rs 60 per kg, down Rs 6 per kg, but milkmen have refused to obey official order.In different area of city, different milk shops are charging different rate in clear violation of law.On the other hand, diary farm owners say that cost of production has increased; therefore they can’t supply milk on prices set by the administration.It is worth mentioning that more raise is likely in the price of milk next month.
