Summary Two motorcycles were set on fire by angry men during an anti encroachment operation in Shanti Nagar.
As per details, Anti Encroachment Cell conducted an operation in Shanti Nagar where the area people showed stern resistance. Protestors piled stones on Aziz Bhatti police check post. They also tried to set the police check post on fire but heavy contingents foiled their planning.During this, police threw shells of tear gas and made aerial firing to disperse the protestors.Angry and irritated people also torched two motorcycles.Police called for more security to overcome troubled situation.
