Out of turn promotion in Sindh police: SC seeks record

A two member bench comprising Justice Sermad Jalal Usmani and Justice Amir Hani Muslim heard appeal of Sindh government against Sindh Service Tribunal.The appellant said that the decision of Sub Inspector Aslam Pevaiz Bhutta’s promotion is illegal and requested the court to declare it null and void.On the other hand, Sub Inspector said that he along with other cops not only recovered an abductee but also arrested the accused of abduction for ransom. The government gave others cops out of turn promotion but he was given just an amount as a reward.
