Summary Lahore High Court rejected petition moved against Hussain Haqqani due to lack of evidence.
Counsel for the petitioner said that Hussain Ahmad Haqqani is telling a lie about memo. If the court issues an order to check the statement of Haqqani on the lie detector, reality would be exposed, he said.When the court asked the petitioner to submit proper proofs, the petitioner said that provision of proofs is job of the federal government.Justice Umar Ata Bandyal, while expressing his anger over the petitioner’s stance, commented, “You were of the view that you have proper proofs in this regard.”The court rejected the petition over non provision of proofs.
