Influential torture girl, police refuse to lodge FIR

The victim’s mother and sister also sustained injuries, but area police refused to lodge an FIR against the accused.As per details, a second-year student, daughter of a labourer Javed, was passing Allama Mashraqi Park when some capricious youth started to tease her.When they moved forward to hold her hand, she slapped a youth, who got irritated and tortured the girl with the help of their aides Ramzan and Taimoor. The area people reached the site and saved the victim girl from cruel clutches of the accused and took her to her parents’ home.After an hour, accused Ali Shan along with his 10 armed aides raided the house of the victim girl and tried to abduct her.On resistance, attackers also tortured the victim’s mother Rehana and sister Naushin. Naushin has been reported with broken ribs. The accused fled away from the scene while injured were taken to the hospital.On the other hand, the City B Division police station was informed about the incident but no case was registered against the accused.
