Summary Sindh home minister said accused of firing will face anti-terror trials.
Manzoor Wassn said Anti-Terrorism Act would be invoked against those who have been taken into custody in connection with Numaish-e-Chorasi firing incident.He said this while talking to media men on Monday. He said cases would be registered under the pleas of the family members of victims.Karachi is economic hub of Pakistan and certain elements were hatching conspiracies to sabotage peace efforts on our part to achieve their nefarious designs, he said. “But we have been thwarting and will thwart these conspiracies,” he said.To a question, Wassan told the reporters that Ahl-e-Sunnat-wal-Jamaatt had staged a rally without permission and they had been holding rally on Moharram 1 in Karachi since the last 12 years.To another question, he told the reporters that permits to take arms along with them till Moharram 12 by the people had been cancelled.
